All About Zines: What are They and How to Make Them

Learn all about the Zine and make a zine (or two!) in this hands-on workshop. You will learn about the history of the zine and its origins as well as learning about the content that goes into a zine, whether it’s handwritten or printed. You will learn about the variety of zine formats and sizes, and how to create a layout for printed zines. You will make two zine structures - the 8-page and the 4-page zine, each one made from a single sheet of paper. You’ll also learn a fun way to create a collage background to give your zine some visual pizazz. You will come away with lots of ideas and inspiration for making zines of your own!”
