About the event
Register here for the Fundamentals of Augmented Reality workshop on 11:11 Projects site.
In this workshop, we’ll engage in conversations about the essence of creativity in the context of the emerging technologies of AR and AI, and learn the fundamentals of Augmented Reality. Participants will be taught how to access and utilize AR software and be guided through detecting images, incorporating their own artwork as 3D elements, and effectively interacting with the surrounding world. This workshop can serve as a gateway to explore various cutting-edge technologies, such as 3D modeling software, scripting, and 3D design.
Danny Villanueva, SFV local, the founder of LUCID SKIES, and AR professional is the host of this workshop, teaching you how to activate your own artwork with augmented reality using SnapAR("Lens Studio"), a software that allows you to place 3D/2D digital elements to the world around you, from physical landmarks to a painted canvas. Space is limited to 15 people per workshop.
Once you register for this workshop, we invite you to a virtual orientation where you'll be guided through what type of art to bring, and answer questions.
