Speaker:
Jamie Maldonado is an editorial and fine art photographer from East Texas and the host of the youtube channel "Film Photography for the Digital Age". His work covers a diverse range of styles and genres.
His photography has been featured in Loeil de la Photographie, GivingCity Austin, Texas Monthly, JPG Magazine, other fine publications and on dozens of blogs and band websites. He has an M.A. from Texas A&M University - Commerce.
Jamie believes good photography is a balance of relationships, planning and having enough technical knowledge to properly capture the imagination.
Jaime is the founder of Piney Woods Darkroom in East Texas, a 501c3 non-profit organization that will be providing access to affordable darkroom space and educational opportunities to the photogrpahers of East Texas and beyond. A percentage of the proceeds go toward his non-profit organization.
