Our Team

Mike and Dess are a husband and wife team based in the San Fernando Valley.

Mike's passion for photography started when he got his first job as a darkroom assistant at Los Angeles Valley College in the early 2000's. He has been dreaming of owning his own darkroom ever since. 

Mike brings his technical knowledge and passion for traditional photographic processing and developing to the team. He will go out of his way to make you feel like family.

Dess brings her business acumen and knowledge of the entrepreneurial experience to the duo. She completed her studies at California Lutheran University with an Executive MBA and an undergraduate degree degree in Organizational Leadership. When she is not at the darkroom, she is fulfilling her role as Organizational Development Consulatnt at 11:11 Projects.

When they are not in the darkroom, they love walking through museums, exploring different neighborhoods in Los Angeles, watching movies on the couch and parenting their 13 year old daughter, and their rescue, Mr. Riley.
